The IKAWA PRO IK-TAC700 Synergetic Sticky UV Fly Trap (1x15W) is a professional sticky UV insect light trap for front-of-house, lobbies, bars, dining areas, grocery. UV light draws flies and other flying insects onto a hidden glueboard, so catches stay out of sight and nothing is zapped or scattered — the safer choice near food. It covers up to 40 m² and uses 1 x 15W Synergetic green UV. Replacing the glueboard (IK-GB-TAC700) takes seconds and IKAWA stocks every refill, tube and spare part, plus rental and repair.

FAQ

Q: Is a sticky UV fly trap safe for restaurants and food areas? A: Yes. Sticky traps capture insects on a glueboard instead of zapping them, so no fragments are scattered. Still mount it away from directly above open food.

Q: What area does the TAC700 cover? A: IKAWA states up to 40 m². Large or open kitchens may need more than one unit; IKAWA can advise on placement.

Q: How often should I change the glueboard and UV tube? A: Glueboard: every 2–4 weeks, sooner if full (rated >60 days under UV). UV tube: about once a year for 24/7 use, because UV output fades before the tube looks dim.

Q: Where should I install it? A: Typically 1.8–2 m high, near entry points, away from fans, strong light and direct food-prep surfaces.
